What Is Tinter Battles™?

Tinter Battles™ is the premier global competition series for professional window tinters. A true test of precision, speed, craftsmanship, and composure under pressure. It has quickly become one of the most-watched niche-craft competitions on the internet, showcasing the world’s most skilled installers across multiple divisions.

How the Automotive Team Division Works

Day 1: Prelims

  • 17 teams face off across six Tesla Model 3s.

  • One team tints the driver-side doors; the other takes the passenger side.

  • Each team gets 30 minutes to complete two side windows (no quarter windows).

  • Installations are judged on quality, precision, and finish.

  • The top 5 scoring teams advance to the finals.

Day 2: Finals

  • The 5 finalists are joined by the defending champions, Team Autobahn, creating a field of 6.

  • Teams must tint all four doors, quarter windows, and the full rear glass in 60 minutes.

  • Winner takes:

    • The Tinter Battles™ World Championship Title

    • $5,000 cash prize

    • Major online exposure, often reaching millions of viewers

All judging is recorded, broadcasted, and fully transparent. Competitors can use any film brand—as long as their supplier supports the show—and must bring their own tools. All patterns must be hand-cut, and any vehicle damage results in immediate disqualification.
